Nola Donkin is a choreographer, designer, and maker based in Brooklyn. As a dancer and choreographer, she is interested in exploring the ways that space can be crafted both by the body of a dancer and by physical objects. She has presented her work at La Mama Gallery, The Tang Teaching Museum, Saratoga Shakespeare Company, and the dance and theater departments at Skidmore College. Her creative work spans multiple fields including choreography and design for modern dance, scenic design for theater productions, and book and print mediums. Nola holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Skidmore College where she was a double major in Collaborative Arts Design and Dance. Nola is interested in continuing her exploration of sculptural forms, texture, and motion.
